Naveen Government College, Jarhagaon, Mungeli (C.G.) was established on August 25, 2023, as a beacon of higher education in the region. It currently offers undergraduate programs in Arts, Commerce, and Science, with a vision to provide quality education to students from rural and underprivileged backgrounds.

The college is in its formative stage and is currently functioning from the well equipped premises of Government Higher Secondary School, Jarhagaon, Mungeli (C.G.), ensuring that students have access to essential academic facilities from the beginning. This temporary arrangement reflects the community’s strong support and the government's commitment to expanding educational opportunities in rural areas.

Strategically located in a rural setting, the college is dedicated to empowering young minds, especially from marginalized communities such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). It promotes inclusive education, gender equality, and holistic development
